march has been wonderful. the snow is almost melted. the birds are begining to sing. there is a little more pep in people's walk and a little more cheer. spring is near!
i met up with a good friend yesterday and we walked around temple square. it was the perfect day outside to just appreciate.
one of my favorite talks was from this past conference was Carl B. Cook's talk
at first i was just standing near the reflection pool and loving that i can now wear my cowgirl boots (i'd slip all over the place when i wore them in the snow) and was playing around with the camara.
then i took a picture and saw the temple's reflection in the pool. it was so shady that without my camara i hadn't even seen it. immediately i looked up (:
when life is rough it's easy to hang our head down and feel defeated. but even at our low's we are given reminders from our family, friends, and the Spirit reminding us to look up!
“Don’t give up. Don’t you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead—a lot of it—30 years of it now, and still counting. You keep your chin up. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come.”
Jeffrey R. Holland

Its funny that you posted that quote by Jeffrey R. Holland. It is one of my favorites and the other night I was laying in bed thinking about all that has happened to Ron and I lately and how much my testimony has been strengthened and how that quote ment so much to me when times were really hard. I also was thinking that if there is anything I can share with others who are struggling it would be that exact quote. We must be on the same page =) I love you and miss you
