[day one] thirty randoms

the question challenge. please jump in with me! i got this from my sister in law [mary's] blog. if you don't follow her blog then you need to- she is a great writer and has a great outlook on life! plus two really cute kids (:

DAY ONE: THIRTY RANDOM FACTS

[one]  the fourth of july is my most favorite day of the year.

[two] i got my first cavity when i was 21.

[three] i didn't get my ears pierced until i was 22.

[four] the first time i got stung by a bee i was 23. i was driving my moped across town and it stung me. i ran into the curb screaming and crashing. my roomie fixed me up.

[five] the first time i got a ticket i was 24. 

[six] before graduating college i asked if i could take out my endowments but the bishop and stake pres. asked me to consider waiting til marriage. i was planning on taking them out in the rexburg, ID temple, the day before graduation.

[six] i have had 7 cars and a moped up to date.

[seven] i believe in bigfoot. i'm sure you've heard my famous uncle's stories. they're out there, guys. they are out there.

[eight] i never drink soda. i hate carbonation. i've had maybe three in my life.

[nine] i have had 11 jobs, don't worry i never got fired.

my favorite was my two haunted house jobs. one at busch gardens theme park in williamsburg, VA (picture below) and one the haunted mill in sugar city, ID. busch gardens actually filmed me scaring people to advertise for the next year, they said "i should consider going into acting." (:
 unfortunately this odd talent won't take me far in life so i bagged it and just pull it out once a year in october.

[ten] if you know the "color code" i am 42% yellow, 30% blue, 26% white, and 2% red. if you know me, that sounds just about right.

[11] i love zoo's, circus, animal parks, museums, amusement parks more than the average kid.

[twelve] i rarely brush my hair. i rarely "do" my hair (according to utah).

[thirteen] i've been collecting and making aprons for years and wear them even if i'm just making chocolate milk. (:

[fourteen] i used to suck my [middle finger] until i was seven. thank heavens my teeth don't show it.

[fifteen] i love to draw. i love to draw people the most.

[sixteen] my friends say i eat like a bird. i don't ever have much of an appetite. i eat cereal, sandwiches, pudding, applesauce, crackers, fruit snacks and string cheese. when i go to restaurants i order of the kid's menu. and i love the activities! (:

 

[seventeen] i have a perfectly healthy obsession with dinosaurs.

[eighteen] i am a fanatic about spelling. please point out if i ever make a spelling error on here, i will change it as quickly as possible (:

'definitely' is definitely my hardest word to spell.
unfortunately (for you) i am not a fanatic about capitalization...

[nineteen] i tied knots and flies the fastest in my summer fly fishing class (only an accomplishment to some) (:

[twenty] i have had 48 roomies, now 49. and you won't hear me complaining, i love these girls!

[twenty one] i actually have 4 blogs. this in my only one that is public. other blogs i share with friends and one blog i record all of my dating/relationship stories/experiences/pictures for my kids to read one day.

[twenty two] i have a passion for hiking! angel's landing in ZION'S national park was my most recent big hike. if you can handle heights and chains, i say go for it! (go barefoot too!)

[twenty three] i have big dreams. but i've got the faith they will happen.

[twenty four] i wish, oh i wish, i wish i had freckles. just a little on my nose and cheeks. like this beautiful gal. they are the sweetest thing. also, dimples.

[twenty five] my dream boy is a country boy. when i see a muddy truck i always, always say "i wanna date him!" i suppose i just need a man who can do all of my outdoor adventures with me. i do fun. 

i'm a sucker for ballers too.

[twenty six] on that note... it's been a dream of mine to make a successful march madness bracket. however, my days of spitting out names and stats of the NBA players died off when MJ retired. which is another random fact, i am a loyal michael jordan fan. 

[twenty seven] i think the most attractive people in the world are people who treat others nicely and serve others. especially people that deserve or need it the least- that reveals true character. 

[twenty eight] now and even as a child i was torn between wanting to be two things. so... i am a [little] of both.

a ballerina.

a cowgirl.

[twenty nine] i've had my children's named planned since about 9th grade. when you become a teacher and actually have some of these kids, names get tossed out left and right. however, there are enough names that have stayed loyal and true and my dear husband, well, let's just hope he likes them (especially my girl names)!

[thirty] i am ambidextrous. i have no idea which one i consider myself more. i suppose i'm classified as the 11% of the world "southpaw's" because i write with my left hand,  but i do more day to day task's with my right hand. i feel comfortable with both hands on many tasks and when i am learning something new it is always a struggle to know which hand is dominant. but here's the data. so you decide.

Right Hand: scissors, comp mouse, throwing, shooting a basketball, bowling, writing on the chalk board, brushing teeth, brushing hair, eating, uke, punching, kicking.

Left Hand: writing on paper, baseball, texting, opening things (cans, etc), shooting a gun, raising hand, sewing, computer (for much too long i would cross my left hand over my right to play computer games), swimming-i start with my L, dancing- L foot dominant, wear purse, talking on the phone.

Both Hands: applying makeup (right hand for right side of face, left hand for left side), fishing, dribbling.

so what do you think!? i am the only "lefty" in my family and it will be interesting to see what my kids will end up being.
