DAY THREE: PARENTS

i have always, always been a  proud [daddy's girl].

look how handsome he is! and such a country boy- it's no wonder that's just what i want.

my dad is the jack of all trades. he does it all. and is still the most humble man i know.

my dad always talks of the the time when i was 2 and he and i took a road trip across the states in a old yellow pick up truck. i wish i could remember it.

i have a good relationship with me dad. he loves to have me tag along during his work time and talk. usually while he's nailing and boarding away i'll be sitting on a paint can and we'll talk.

he loves to be involved in my dating life and stays up late just so when i drop by home before leaving back to my place he can get the run down.

he is incredibly smart and a quick learner. this man will not pay anyone to do anything. he will get online and learn how to do it himself then jump right on it.

he is spiritually solid and is living proof that in the most devastating circumstances you can make the best of life fullfill your dreams.

it's no wonder i am so picky, but i only need just one.

when people tell me i look like my mom i sure do take it as a compliment. sometimes it's hard to relate to my mom because she was married at 18 and had 3 kids by the time she was my age. but let me tell you something about my mom, she is supportive. she is the support everyone wants to be able to have in their life. she is such a good companion to my dad, i just know i have big shoes to fill.

she is the solid woman who takes a stand for what is right and immediately turns away from that which is wrong. she is decisive and proactive, something i need to be a lot more of.

she get's things done and doesn't have time for excuses.

she is virteous and pure and lovely too.

and just like my dad she is also living proof that you can't let trials and setbacks hold you back.

she is strong and independant and kind and caring too.

she is the ultimate woman/motherly example.

she is someone i aspire to be just like.
