small things

i love people who put their [all] into things. whatever it may be, big or small. it shows heart.

i went grocery shopping late tonight and as i walking into the store

and an older man welcomed the customers in

then ran and grabbed another person's carts to give out and take back down the road to the cart rack. the whole time he was smiling. just living and giving his best.

such a small thing, but it really touched me.

job-wise, he didn't quite make it to the big league's,

just a minimum-wage job with little skill required.

but in the long run of things, what job you had won't ever matter.

but how you served will.

and it was just fulfilling to see someone put their all into something.

be it such a small thing, it truly reflects his character.
