[SUNDAY] my little 17 yr old sister came into town. it was fun to have a college sleepover and hang out up here in idaho before she went to EFY. it was great, i love having her around. she is a spunky, sweet, strong and spiritual sister! (:
the brunette and the red-head.

[MONDAY] i went white water rafting with the school's outdoor program. my friend couldn't go with me cause he was "no longer a student" so i had to go by myself, which ended up being ok cause i met new friends and got to raft on the salmon river!
the student driver/raft guide was awesome. and since i didn't know anyone i sat shotgun the whole 7 hr drive there and back and we got to be pretty good friends. he was a cute, awesome guy who loved the outdoors. he was our guide down the river and we got to hit some class 3 and 4 rapids! we raced against another raft of like 10 people and they ended up hijacking our raft and threw us all out into the river. i about died, thank heavens my angel in waiting guide of a man pulled me back into the boat.
i imagine it looked a little something like this.
[TUESDAY] night i received a letter enveloped up, addressed to me. looked a little something like this. two tickets to rome, italy?? was i in for a surprise!
so [WEDNESDAY] i got ready for this random getaway to ROME! my date picked me up and took me back to his apartment where there was italian music playing and an italian scene as the backdrop of his computer on the counter where our pizza was. let me tell you about this boy. he's from mississippi and his accent sure proves it! southern gentleman at most, and transfer student. says to me, "so these utah/idaho dates are pretty fancy so i had to go all out." haha, i reminded him i'm from VA and was asked out to prom on a couch during mutual, not on a hot air balloon ride...
but yes, this date did WOW me. all prepared and such. then we made pizza and he made the pepperoni's in line of our initials to add some more cheese to the story. (:
oh and he must have known i was an elementary education major cause he had paper and crayons for us to color an "italian scene" of which i thoroughly enjoyed.
below, our masterpieces...
and then we went out for ice cream. and then went and swung on the swings at the park. and then both almost threw up so we went back home took some medicine and called it good.

[THURSDAY] my date picked me up and took me out to his little farm in st. anthony, idaho. we drove in his TRUCK and blasted our country music the whole way, went to his ginormous shed to roll out his beast of a 4 wheeler. jumped in, oh you know i buckled up, and drove through the wheat field. the wheat was so long you could barely see anything. it was so beautiful. then we got to his other garage and climbed on the big green tractor! then went out and turned the sprinkler pump on to water the huge field and climbed the tower. the sunset was so pretty! well planned, of course he knew i was a country girl. (:

at 10:00 my friends and i went to go stand in line for awhile for the midnight showing of harry potter! the last and final one. we all dressed up as GRYFFINDORKS!

[FRIDAY] was rough. i was drugged up from the pills i had taken earlier that day for my cold. i went on a double date with my awesome friend to dinner at wingers. yum. of course i ate off the kids menu- nothing's changed. and i could barely walk to the bathroom i was so dizzy. i tripped on my chair and almost fell on the table behind us. i must not do well on this medicine, i was loony all night long. we got to double with my recently married friends and went back to their place to play the wii. which of course, i was delayed in as well. good thing i knew them all so well or it would have been much more embarrassing, i was sooo gone. my date was such a gentleman and took care that i didn't fall down those 4 flight of stairs.
[SATURDAY] was my vocal performance and mr. mississippi came to support. then my friends and i all went to rigby lake and soaked up some sun rexburg finally decided to grace upon us. drove back in the bed of the truck, which is my most favorite spot. and ran home to get ready for my blind date with mr. shelly, idaho boy. my friend had been working on setting us up for awhile now. we went to the chuckers mini league baseball game. it was really fun and he is a really great guy. 6 '4, 24, and a baller. we had a lot in common and i was very impressed with him. and after we went out to baskin robbins and of course got chocolate ice cream (:

i sure am going to miss rexburg. this is my last week left.
