DAY SEVEN: FIVE PASSIONS
[what are 5 passions you have and how did they become your passions?]
[1]. people
i love people. i am very much a people person and love meeting and getting to know people past the superficial "hi, how are you stage". i truly believe you can learn something from everyone. and it is a goal in my life to do just that.
[2]. adventuring
i have a passion for getting out there and exploring. i enjoy new places and spaces. i am always up for a road trip or a spontaneous day out. i have such big dreams of where i'd love to travel, but i also love all the little spots that hold secret treasures you have to search out, those usually end up being the best!
[3]. organizing/journaling/recording
as carefree as i may be, organization and recording is a big need of mine. my love language is [words of affirmation] so i keep every card, letter, thought anyone has sent me. i also enjoy recording my history with pictures and journals and momentos. words are very powerful and carry an echo. so thank you for all the kind ones you've sent my way, they don't go forgotten.
[4]. family and friends
[4]. family and friends
because they aren't just people, but people that i keep the closest to me. people who know me well know i don't get rid of friends and certainly don't give up on them. sometimes it may backfire or hurt trying to keep every friend i ever made, but "if i make errors in judging people, i want them to be on the side of mercy." [hugh b. brown] i love being able to smile and laugh and share inside jokes be able to go through both good and bad times, it just makes you all the stronger. friends are an important part of my life.
i love my family. and thank goodness they're stuck with me forevermore. there is nothing that i'd want to go through without them. they mean the absolute world to me.

[5]. underdogs
i have always had a special place for those who may get bullied, or picked on, or are seen as 'odd' or 'different'. if everyone wore a sign stating what they were currently going through in life, people would be a lot more gracious. in my PB it said i had made a promise to look out for those who were less fortunate than i and that is a promise i have been striving to keep. as said in the first, there is something you can learn from everyone, and i always find that when i helping others, it is more that they are helping me.

I love this post about 5 passions...what a wonderful idea!! Great blog by the way :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE reading your blog. You are so inspirational and I just feel so good after reading it. I also love you, and chocolate milk. I also have chocolate milk and would be willing to make some just for you, but that means we have to get together soon!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute post. One of mine would be biking/being outdoors. I just bought a baby trailer to go on the back of my bike so the boys and I can cruise all around town. :)
